Founded in Berlin, Gebr. Mann Verlag has published books on art history, architecture, history and archaeology since 1917 – scholarly monographs, series and source editions as well as volumes for a broad, interested readership. Our books are created in close collaboration with their authors and through partnerships, often spanning decades, with cultural and research institutions in Germany and abroad. And because the publishing house grew out of the printing trade, we strive for well-made books: carefully typeset, finely printed, and bound to last.
